Laois and Offaly Education and Training Board (LOETB) hosted the PEDL project launch in Portlaoise and Dublin in November 2021. As part of the launch, partners visited Oaklands Community College in Edenderry, Co. Offaly and attended the Schools of Distinction Award Ceremony in Trinity College Dublin.
Fundacion Avantia hosted the first PEDL exchange of practice in February 2022. Partners visited three schools (IES Cristobal de Monroy, IED Hermanus Machado, IES Valle Del Genal) who made presentations on the activities they undertake to support school communities with digital transformation.
Liceul Technologic Iorgu Varnav hosted the second PEDL exchange of practice in Liteni, Romania. The exchange took place in October 2022. Partners were provided with a tour of Iorgu Varnav and a forum was held with parents and students. Project management meeting were held in Suceava City. Cultural activities took place in the Suceava region.
Trinity Access hosted the fourth PEDL exchange of practice in Trinity College Dublin. The exchange took place in January 2023. A dissemination event was held in Trinity College and partners were provided with school visits to Moyle Park CS and OLM Drimnagh in Dublin. A project management meeting was also held to discuss progress towards achieving project objectives.
LOETB hosted the fifth PEDL exchange of practice in the midlands of Ireland. The exchange took place in May 2023. A dissemination event was held online where each partner presented the key learnings for them. Partners were also provided with a school visit to Ard Scoil Chiarain Naofa in Clara, Co. Offaly and Mercy Secondary School, Inchicore, Dublin. A project management meeting was also held to complete the final project report.
